It

It was a miniseries released in 1990 to television, and it was based on the novel of the same name by Stephen King. Starring Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown, this flick is somewhat cheesy, but I do love me some Pennywise. Tim Curry plays this role with his usual pizazz, and he wears the costume oh so well. Pennywise the Dancing Clown likes to lure in children and kill them. When he starts stalking a pack of losers, they decide to try to destroy It. Yes, it could do without the giant fake spider at the end, but I still love the imagery of the evil clown.

Pet Sematary

Pet Sematary was written by Stephen King and released on film in 1989. When a doctor moves his family to a small town, strange things start happening, and people start dropping dead. However, said small town just so happens to have a cemetery that brings dead things back to life. This movie is horrific and awesome. Don't NOT see it.

Silver Bullet

Silver Bullet began as Stephen King's novella, Cycle of the Werewolf, and was released on film in 1985. Gary Busey and a young Corey Haim star in this Horror Classic. Don't watch this one alone, you won't be able to sleep for days.
