Walt Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was an animated film that originally appeared in conjunction with The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad in 1949. Disney later released The Legend of Sleepy Hollow on it's own in 1958. Washington Irving wrote the original story in 1820. The animation in this production is classic Disney, and it scared the bejeezus out of me when I was a kid. It will always hold a special place in my little dark heart.
