Carol Kane stars in this 1979 thriller titled, When a Stranger Calls. This film is based upon the urban legend that began in the 60s about the babysitter and the man upstairs. A young girl is in a strange house babysitting, and suddenly begins to get calls on the home phone. It's a stranger, and he continues calling. The house is dark, the parents won't be home for several hours, and the kids are asleep upstairs...AHHHHHHHH! To anyone who's ever been creeped out while babysitting, this will scare the bejeezus out of you. Everyone else can still relate.
