Let the Right One In was released on film in Sweden in 2008 and is based on the book of the same name written by John Ajvide. This is a story of a lonely little boy who makes friends with a little girl in his apartment complex. The kicker is the fact that she turns out to be a vampire. The book was phenomenal, although difficult to adapt to film at 600 or so pages, so the film misses some of the gore, but wins none the less. It was beautifully filmed and extremely disturbing. The book was one of the most grotesque things I have ever read. There is an English language version being released this year. If you like vampires, this one's definitely for you!
