The 'Burbs was directed by Joe Dante, and stars Tom Hanks, Carrie Fisher, Bruce Dern, Rick Duccomun, and Corey Feldman. This 1989 black comedy features Tom Hanks' character, Ray Peterson, who decides to take a stay-cation, rather than go to the lake with his wife, Carol, played by Carrie Fisher. Luckily, the neighborhood just got some new and interesting neighbors to entertain him and the neighborhood gang. The Klopek's move in next door to Ray, and everyone starts to wonder what it is they do in there. No one ever leaves, no one ever enters. They only come out at night and dig...in the rain. So, Ray and his pals begin to investigate. The hilarity that ensues is to die for!
