American Psycho was filmed in 2000 by Mary Harron and is based upon the novel of the same name written by Bret Easton Ellis. This is a story about a seemingly normal, wall street tycoon in the 80's, who just so happens to be a psychopathic murderer. Christian Bale's performance as Patrick Bateman is astonishingly well done. With a love of prostitutes and butchering people up, Patrick slowly melts down. Check this flick out, it is truly to die for. And, if you haven't read the book, shame on you!
