Shadow of the Vampire was released in 2000, and it stars Willem Dafoe, John Malkovich, Cary Elwes, and Eddy Izzard. This film is a fictional account of the making of Nosferatu, directed by F.W. Murnau. Oddly funny and highly entertaining, Willem Dafoe plays Count Orlok, who turns out to be an actual vampire. When the cast and crew start being sucked dry by Orlok, the director, John Malkovich, begins to have a bit of a meltdown. Dafoe is amazing in this role, and Malkovich never fails to please. If you like Nosferatu, you should definitely check this out. It's fantastic!
